We booked our rehearsal dinner at Founders Restaurant, and wedding party stayed at the B&B.What an amazing meal! We had flank steak and several types of vegetables. Two individuals were vegan and had the cauliflower steak. Dessert was cheesecake and cobbler with ice cream. Everything was delicious!! Staff was so attentive! Kellie was so helpful and accommodating for the reservations and the event, Gary helped with the dinner, and was so attentive, as well as all the other staff members! Then the staff boxed and labeled all the leftovers so guests could take boxes! What a nice touch! We had the whole place to ourselves and there was a large deck for people to mingle.Would highly recommend!!
Love love love! This is our go-to spot for a family celebration. 2nd time visiting and we shall be back! It cost a bit of , but for special occasions it's not that bad! Drinks are good, and the mimosas is a must! Food was just as delicious and the service is always great! Can't wait for the next time!
Amazing. I wish I could live here and just eat from the menu for the rest of my life. I was amazed by the all of the gluten free items. I had chicken and waffles for the first time ever and that hot honey sauce was so good. Next time we come to visit we’re going to book a room at the inn. Our awesome server told us breakfast is included with your stay! The inn is super cute and the restaurant is gorgeous. I love the look of the place, it’s so cozy. And the mimosas were so good! We will definitely be back!!
We came here on a Sunday morning and, since we weren't sure what time we were going to arrive, showed up without reservations. Pro tip: make reservations if possible. Fortunately for us, a party cancelled and we were able to get squeezed in. Which is great, because as we were waiting to hear from the staff about a table, we saw tray after tray of amazing food walk past and would have been highly disappointed if we had missed out!I ordered the chicken and waffles and, wow, it was amazing. It very well may be the best I've ever had. There was a little kick to it but it wasn't overpowering, and the honey was a great sweet touch. I added a side of grits and they were delicious! My wife got the avocado toast which looked like something out of a magazine or cooking show. She said it was good but not great and would probably order something else next time. The staff was very attentive and super flexible to be able to work us into their busy Sunday morning without a reservation. We can't wait to come back!
Please know, this is a neat, smaller house with limited seating. Reservations are recommended and they make that clear, so please disregard reviews relating to that complaint! This is a very nice house to enjoy the space while waiting to be seated and the staff was nothing but hospitable! Kai was our server and she was very friendly and on top of everything for us! The Cherry Bomb Mimosas were excellent to start with! They have a full wine, beer and Mimosa menu! The menu did have lots of food to choose from and had lots of great options! I ordered the Texas Pete Chicken biscuit, only complaint was the bottom of it was entirely sticky underneath like it got set in it and the biscuit was a little burnt on the bottom. Overall it was good! The waffles are unique and everyone I dined with enjoyed their food too! Kai kept our drinks full and even brought coffee after we ate for us to enjoy since it sounded good! The food was good, place was very enjoyable and we left feeling satisfied! Will be back!
If you have a love for historic homes, true southern hospitality, and amazing food you found your place. The entire staff is amazing! They were juggling a wedding and regular breakfast service and still got everything out on time and the proper temperature. Listen, this place has some amazing food and the atmosphere is so relaxing that you legitimately feel like you're over at a friend's house enjoying a great home cooked meal.
This is a gem of a place. The decor and ambiance are great and successfully conveys the "southern cooking" vibe. Our waiter (Gary) was absolutely amazing. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Also, if you have Celiac disease, this is the place to go.
Service is great and the food amazing. We enjoyed the shrimp and grits, french toast and eggs Benedict. Highly recommend the bloody Mary also. Gary was so attentive and delightful.
